We had so many nice images to choose from after Kristy & Shohan’s engament shoot yesterday at Bass & Flinders Point in Cronulla that we had trouble culling them down, so here we are with a bumper edition!
A big thanks to the guys for braving the brisk weather.
Have you ever had one of those days when your mind becomes absorbed by the surroundings and your body goes into auto-pilot? Well, this is how Marissa & Jon’s wedding day was like for me. The combination of music that was being played and the people that I met & interacted with on the day made for a very surreal experience and I was totally into it!
This Super8mm production was shot on three different film stocks: Kodak Vision 3 colour negative, Pro8mm 250D Push and my all-time favourite Kodak Ektachrome E64T reversal.
Anyway, here’s what I was able to put together from that day…

So here is our first official fusion piece. Helen shot 95% of all the video on this one because my duties were as primary photographer although I did shoot the time-lapse shots a couple of days beforehand – hence why the weather was so nice ;) On the actual wedding day it rained constantly, none the less it did make for some nice images :) The soundtrack features actual recordings made during our stay on the island of the indigenous string bands.
Hot off the press! Simone & Matt’s wedding day photo slide-show.
Features some of Sydney’s most picturesque locations including; North Head, Cardinal Carretti Chapel (where Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban were married) and the poetic Boronia House in Mosman.
Enjoy :)
Here today is Sandy & Ronnie’s photoshoot which I filmed last September. The shoot was really enjoyable because on the day I was was working with Jenny Sun (one of my favourite photographers.) Its great bouncing ideas off each other and there’s always a great dynamic when I’m working with Jenny because we’re both looking for killer light and foreground framing.
I don’t normally use grey-tone or B&W in my work but I had no choice for this clip because at the park they had these ugly bright orange construction fences all over the place which I could only get rid of with major colour work & grey-tone tweaking.
Please enjoy!
See you all again on Sunday when Helen & I will premiere Natalie & Grant’s Vanuatu “Fusion” video clip.
Evro :)
